BANGKA BELITUNG -- A Healthy Walk with SOEs in the context of the 25th anniversary of the Ministry of SOEs also gave blessings to MSMEs in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Sunday (19/2/2023).
Previously, BUMN Minister Erick Thohir invited the public and BUMN employees to take a Healthy Walk with BUMN with the theme 'BUMN Healthy Indonesia is Healthy'.
Healthy Walks with SOEs were held in seven Regencies/Cities in Babel. This activity also took place in 234 districts/cities in Indonesia with the theme 'Together with SOEs Towards Healthy Indonesia'.
PT Timah Tbk as a BUMN has involved hundreds of MSME actors to participate in marketing and promoting their products in
healthy walking activities with SOEs.
The blessing of this increase in turnover is not only felt by the MSME players assisted by BUMN. But also the traders who were at the activity location also contributed to the sustenance of the many people who took part in this Healthy Walk with SOEs.
PT Timah Tbk's HR Director Yennita said PT Timah Tbk together with other SOEs had contributed to increasing the community's economic independence, such as improving the quality of MSMEs.
Therefore, in this Health Walk with SOEs, MSME actors are also involved in promoting and marketing their products.
"We encourage the development of MSMEs, we have SOE Rumah BUMN to become a place for marketing MSMEs," he said.
Meanwhile, Surya El Sinta, one of the MSME players from West Bangka, said he was grateful to be given the opportunity to market his product at the Healthy Walk with SOEs. He claimed to get additional income for them.
"Alhamdulillah, activities like this have had a huge impact on MSMEs, increasing income. It can be for the needs of school children. Moreover, all of these tents can be facilitated by PT Timah Tbk," he said.
He hoped that PT activities like this would be routinely carried out. Because it can increase their turnover.
It's the same as Leho, who has the Ak Leho Shrimp Pempek product, admitting that his turnover can increase five times by participating in this activity.
"Today I brought 500 pieces of pempek prawns and 300 pieces of otak-otak leaves. Alhamdulillah, they are selling well. With activities like this, our turnover can increase fivefold," he said.
One of the MSMEs from Bangka Regency who is a fostered partner of PT Timah Tbk Kiki (37) admits that he can earn four times the usual turnover.
“With activities like this it really helps us in marketing our products. Alhamdullilah, with this event my turnover has also increased. There is about three or even four times the increase in turnover," said the Owner of Kifani Catering.
