WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk carried out the empowerment of an Environmental Conservation-Based Tourism Village which was carried out in the Bozem Beach Tourism Area, Rubiah Bay, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, Friday (8/9/2023).
In carrying out this Tourism Village Empowerment Activity, PT Timah Tbk collaborated with Students, Community Organizations, the Village Government, the community, and hundreds of Timah employees also took part in mutual cooperation activities cleaning the area, repainting the sidewalks, and planting 1000 mangrove stems.
Hundreds of people who took part in this activity seemed to work together to clean up this area and beautify this area by repainting community tourism facilities.
Chairman of the Rubiah Bay Community Youth Communication Forum (FKPMTR) Wahyudi said activities like this provide benefits to support tourism development in this region.
"The maintenance of this Bozem is not routine, with activities like this, it helps both from the development of tourism and from the point of view that we see, the currently blurred colors look beautiful to the eye," he explained.
He hopes that the synergy with PT Timah Tbk can continue to run well so that it can continue to be beneficial to society.
"Representing the people of Rubiah Bay, I would like to thank PT Timah. It is our hope that PT Timah Tbk will always work together, and activities that are beneficial to the community will go well to help us," he said.

Meanwhile, according to him, the Chairperson of the All Indonesian Muhamadiyah Student Association KKN in the Tanjung Rizal Adi Nugroho Village, him, the activities carried out together were one of their work programs.
"PT Timah Tbk is very helpful to students, in which this activity is a student work program. Representing Tanjung sub-district students would like to thank PT Timah for supporting us. We feel very lucky here because everything we need for the work program is provided especially from PT Timah," said Rizal.
The Head of RT 02 Rw 06 Teluk Rubiah Kelurahan Tanjung, Yang Nurmaniah appreciated the Environmental Conservation-Based Tourism Village Empowerment activities.
