PT Timah Tbk Helps Reduce Medical Costs for Residents of Kedimpel Hamlet

CENTRAL BANGKA – Asroni (32) did not expect that her son Rindu Cahaya was declared by the medical team to have heart failure when he was only one and a half months old.

Residents of Kampung Baru, Kedimpel Hamlet, Baskara Bakti Village, Namang District, Central Bangka Regency did not expect to receive this test.

He, who was only a casual daily laborer, couldn't do much to cure his baby because of limited funds, so he failed to carry out the operation.

"At that time we wanted to go to the hospital for treatment, to treat our child's cough and cold. However, sometime later, my wife came out of the examination room crying. He said that our child had a heart attack," he said.

Their child was initially advised by a doctor to undergo hospitalization, but because they still didn't believe it, they took their child back to another doctor.

"I also tried to take him to another hospital and the result was the same, my child had a heart failure. "And it must be treated intensively at a hospital in Jakarta," said Asroni.

Due to limited funds, he can only do outpatient treatment and undergo traditional treatment.

“Thank God, now his condition is somewhat better. "The leaks are getting smaller, hopefully in the future it will get better," he said.

He appreciated the assistance from PT Timah Tbk which he would use to cover the medical costs for his child.
