KARIMUN -- PT Timah Tbk handed over assistance to improve facilities and infrastructure at the Kamboja Cemetery, Teluk Uma Village, Tebing District, Karimun Regency, Monday (19/6/2023).
The assistance from PT Timah Tbk will be used for the construction of a fence at the Kamboja Cemetery.
Secretary for the Construction of the Kamboja Cemetery Fence Rahman Saleh said the Kamboja Cemetery Fence which is being built is around 300 square meters. So that requires a fairly large cost.
"We need assistance from various parties so that the development that we are carrying out can run smoothly," he said.
His party appreciates PT Timah Tbk's concern through its CSR program which has helped build a fence around the Kamboja Cemetery.
"With the assistance from PT Timah, it is hoped that the construction of the Kamboja Cemetery Fence can be completed soon," he said.
Meanwhile, Teluk Uma Rasandi Urban Village Oknadi Gea appreciated the company that had provided funding for this activity.
"Hopefully with the help from PT Timah, the Cambodia TPU Fence Development can be completed soon. Hopefully, PT Timah Tbk's concern for the community will also continue," he stated. (*)
