PT Timah Tbk Health Car Present in Mentok District, Hundreds of Residents Have Free Health Checks

WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk provides free health services through the Healthy Car for the people in Muntok, West Bangka Regency. Hundreds of residents take advantage of this free health service.

The Healthy Car activity was held at the Multipurpose Building, Muntok District, on Thursday (20/7/2023) at the same time as PT Timah Tbk's Service Month in order to welcome the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk.

The presence of the Healthy Car was immediately invaded by residents who wanted treatment or just had their health checked. As many as 120 people received free health services from PT Timah Tbk.

Darni, a resident of Tanjung Punai, Muntok District, said she was happy with the free medical treatment from PT Timah Tbk. He hopes PT Timah Tbk's Health Car can come back to his village.

"Very happy, as well as delivering circumcised children while receiving treatment. Hopefully, the Healthy Car can come to our village," he said.

In line, Nelly (42) said that she was deliberately seeking treatment because she had several complaints, such as stomach ulcers.

"While waiting for the child to be circumcised, I received treatment because there were complaints of stomach ulcers. I was very happy because all the services and medicines were provided free of charge," he said.

Similar is the case with Fauzah (39), a resident of Sukal, Belo Laut Village, who also feels helped by the free health services from PT Timah Tbk.

"Alhamdulillah, we can find out about our health, cholesterol, HB, gout, and blood pressure.
All free of charge, thank you PT Timah," he said.

Meanwhile, Muntok District Secretary Rini Indra Sari hopes that the free health services carried out by members of the MINDI ID Mining Industry Holding can be carried out routinely in Mentok District.

"We appreciate the presence of the Healthy Car. Hopefully, it will be implemented frequently in the Mentok sub-district," he hoped. (*) ma
