KUNDUR -- To improve lighting in public places, PT Timah Tbk handed over light pole assistance to Kundur Village, Perayun Village and South Sawang Village, Wednesday (23/8/2023).
Interestingly, the lamp poles that were handed over were recycled materials from unused iron waste, which were then processed into electricity poles. This is a form of the company's commitment to environmental management, including waste.
One of the recipients of this assistance, Ibziman from Kundur Village, said that this lamp post was very useful for their community. Mainly to support lighting in public facilities.
"We will install this light pole at TPM Husnul Khotimah Hamlet IV, Kundur Village, hopefully with this light pole at the location we can install lighting," he said.
In the same vein, Yono, a resident of Perayun Village, said that this lamppost will be installed at the crossroads leading to the settlers' community so that at night the roads are no longer dark and the community can be safer.
Meanwhile, the Head of Kundur Village Marhalim expressed his appreciation for the assistance of the light pole. According to him, PT Timah Tbk often helps their community.
"PT Timah consistently gives attention and support to our community members, so that it helps ease the Village Government in providing services to the community," he said. (*)
