PT Timah Tbk Hands Over Garbage Cars to the Babel Regional Police

PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk handed over a garbage truck to the Bangka Belitung Regional Police in order to support cleaning services at the Babel Regional Police.

The assistance of this garbage car was handed over by the Main Director of PT Timah Tbk Achmad Ardianto to the Bangka Belitung Regional Police Chief Inspector General of Police Yan Southeast Sulawesi in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Bhayangkari Building, the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate Building and the Babel Police Apple Field at the Babel Regional Police, Tuesday (14/2/2023) ).

Bangka Belitung Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol Yan Southeast Sulawesi appreciates the assistance of the trash car from PT Timah Tbk so that it can support cleaning services at the Babel Regional Police.

"Thank you and appreciation to the Babel Provincial Government for providing development assistance and PT Timah for providing assistance with a garbage truck. Hopefully this synergy will not end here," said the Regional Police Chief in his remarks.

He hopes that in the future PT Timah Tbk can continue to synergize with the Babel Regional Police in supporting the improvement of services to the community.

"Timah is a place for humans to ask for grace and guidance. Many people ask for help from PT Timah Tbk but that's okay, it's charity. Hopefully by providing tin assistance all will appear and targets can be met. Hopefully the Regional Government can also increase regional income," he said.

He also asked the Head of Service at the Babel Regional Police Headquarters to make the best use of the garbage truck from PT Timah Tbk.

"Thank you for donating a garbage truck which we have had trouble with. If we use it later, we must remember that it was from PT Timah. Don't use it to pick up tin, let alone illegal tin, this is a car for picking up trash," he ordered.

"I don't want to see trash anymore with the excuse that there is no transportation, so the garbage trucks will make good use of it," he stressed.(**)
