EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk supports implementing the real action of the National Mental Revolution Movement (GNRM) in the form of the Clean Friday Movement and Sharing Friday in East Belitung Regency.
The Clean Friday and Sharing Friday Movement coincided with the coffee morning activities which were carried out with the East Belitung Forkopimda, Sub-District Head, Head of Village, Community Leaders, Religious Leaders, and Youth Leaders in the Manggar District area as well as distribution of primary food parcels to the community, at the Courtyard of the Belitung Regent's Official House East, Friday (9/6/2023).
Head of the National Unity and Politics Agency for East Belitung Regency Yusmawandi said this activity involved several regional apparatus organizations (OPD) such as Kesbangpol, DLH Beltim, Diskominfo, Health Office, Beltim Social Service, and others.
Yusmawandi said that the Clean Friday program had been promoted for a long time, but what was different from today was the distribution of basic food packages to people in need.
"This was attended by the Beltim Regent, Beltim Forkopimda, DPRD Chairperson, Army Air Forces, and Navy Post, and the Air Force and related OPDs," said Yusmawandi.
He said PT Timah Tbk played a role in this activity such as providing basic food packages for the community and supporting this activity.
"We are grateful to PT Timah Tbk for taking concrete action to support this activity by handing over basic food packages to the community. We hope this will continue in other sub-districts," he concluded.
Meanwhile, the food package assistance recipient from Pancur Village, Padang Manggar, Harmuni, was happy to receive assistance from PT Timah Tbk, because it can help meet their daily needs.
"Alhamdulillah, it is very helpful to meet my daily needs and this is very useful, especially for me, who currently only lives alone. Hopefully, it will continue," he said. (*)
