BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk handed over digital learning media assistance to SMAN 1 Pemali, Bangka Regency. This assistance was handed over in the Gen Z Talent Activation event 'Building Stunting-Based Digital Generation'.
This assistance was handed over by the Head of the CSR Division of PT Timah Tbk Ebi Wibisana to the Principal of SMAN 1 Pemali Eflina which was also attended by Special Staff of the Minister of BUMN for Public Communication Arya Sinulingga at SMAN 1 Pemali, Friday (16/12/2022).
Digital learning media in the form of infocus, screens, and speakers are expected to expedite the learning process at SMAN 1 Pemali.
In this activity, several SOEs in Bangka Belitung also handed over assistance to students and schools.
Arya Sinulingga on this occasion also motivated students to continue their education. There are many scholarship programs from the Government that can be used to continue their education.
"The government has lots of scholarships, there are lots of things to pursue. We were not great people, just because the school could change our faces. Continue education," he ordered.
Meanwhile, the Head of SMAN 1 Pemali Eflina said that his party was grateful that there were BUMNs that cared about schools and often supported them, one of which was PT Timah Tbk.
"PT Timah Tbk has often assisted us. Thank God, today there is more assistance from PT Timah Tbk. PT Timah Tbk supports the world of education, not only with schools but also in collaboration with the Babel Education Office," she said.
She mentioned a learning system that is carried out in a mobile manner and not only in class. Learning media such as infocus and speakers are needed.
"Previously I had one, but this will complement it again because children learn to be mobile. So equipment like this is needed," he said.
Eflina said that since the past PT Timah Tbk through the Pemali Boarding School program the children who received scholarships from PT Timah Tbk attended school at SMAN 1 Pemali.
"Children who receive school scholarships here and PT Timah Tbk often help, including building classrooms," she said.
