PT Timah Tbk Facilitates Dance Practice Places for Students Who Will Participate in FLS2N in West Bangka

WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk supports students at SDN 22 Muntok who practice dance to take part in the National Student Art Competition Festival (FLS2N) at the sub-district level by facilitating a practice site at PT Timah Tbk's Muntok Metallurgical Unit Majapahit Building, Thursday (4/5/ 2023).

The three students from SDN 22 Muntok looked serious and enthusiastic about participating in the dance practice. Awra, Bunga, and Nayla are representatives from their school to take part in FLS2N which will be held at the end of next May.

One of the students, Bunga (11) admits that her hobby is participating in competitions and she is also motivated because she has the support of her teachers and parents.

"Very happy and a hobby while at the same time supporting the school program, Bunga has the support of parents and teachers participating in the FLS2N selection activities," she said.

She hopes that she and her colleagues can represent Bangka Belitung Islands Province Babel to compete at the national level of FLS2N.

In the same vein, Nayla admitted that she was very happy because she could be trusted to represent the school in the FLS2N selection and she hoped that she could make her school and parents proud.

Meanwhile, dance supervising coordinator Ros Bowo said his party took part in this competition because they wanted to improve school performance.

"FLS2N is attended by elementary and junior high school students, where according to the direction of Principal Pak Isriyanto, he hopes that the school can perform to give the best performance for the school and make the school proud. Apart from dancing, we also take part in a singing competition," explained Ros.

Ros appreciates PT Timah Tbk for providing dance training facilities for their students. He hopes the synergy can be increased.

"We thank PT Timah for providing a training ground for our students. We hope that PT Timah's synergy and assistance in advancing education can continue to be improved," he concluded. (*)
