SOUTH BANGKA – Welcoming Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah, PT Timah handed over 30 sacrificial animals to the community in South Bangka Regency.
The sacrificial animal assistance from PT Timah was symbolically handed over to the South Bangka Government represented by Regional Secretary Haris Setiawan at the Bangka Seatan Regent's Meeting Hall, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Friday (14/6/2024).
The Regional Secretary of the South Bangka Regency Government, Haris, appreciated the assistance of sacrificial animals from PT Timah which will later be distributed to the community in each village.
"We hope that next year PT Timah can continue to share, continue to provide assistance, collaborate, and continue to synergize with the South Bangka Government and the community of course," said Haris.
According to him, PT Timah often provides assistance to the people of South Bangka, not only during Eid al-Adha.
"It's extraordinary that in conditions like this, PT Timah is still providing support and assistance. I think this is a very extraordinary thing. "Hopefully God Almighty will always provide convenience, success, and blessings for PT Timah Tbk," he said.
According to him, this year the South Bangka Regency Government received assistance for 74 cows from various institutions and individuals.
Later, these sacrificial animals will be distributed to villages and sub-districts in the South Bangka region.
"Thank God, this year we have received support and assistance from several of our partner institutions, both individuals and other institutions totaling 74 cows in South Bangka Regency, which will later be divided or handed over to villages or sub-districts in South Bangka Regency," he said. (*)
