EAST BELITUNG - In order to welcome Eid al-Adha 1444 H in 2023 PT Timah Tbk distributed 30 sacrificial animals on Belitung Island.
Dozens of sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk were distributed to Belitung Regency as many as 10 and East Belitung as many as 20.
The distribution of sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk on Belitung Island began with delivery in East Belitung Regency. This sacrificial animal was symbolically handed over to East Belitung Deputy Regent Khairil Anwar.
The distribution of the sacrificial cows will start on Tuesday (27/06) and Wednesday (28/06) so that the public can feel the momentum of the sacrificial holiday from PT Timah Tbk.
East Belitung Deputy Regent Khairil Anwar said, PT Timah Tbk continues to carry out its commitment to distribute sacrificial animals in East Belitung, especially in sharing them with the community.
"Every year we always monitor, PT Timah Tbk always gives sacrificial animals every Eid al-Adha," said Khairil Anwar.
According to Khairil, the distribution of sacrificial animals had a very positive impact on the surrounding community.
Therefore, the East Belitung Regency Government appreciates the sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk.
"Hopefully the assistance of this sacrificial animal will continue in the future," he said.
Meanwhile, one of the recipients of the sacrificial cows, namely the Al Falah Lenggang Gantung Mosque, was received directly by the Al-Falah Mosque Prosperity Agency (BKM), Junaidi Kasim said, PT Timah Tbk always routinely distributes sacrificial animals to their mosque.
According to him, the sacrificial animals from PT Timah Tbk are very helpful to the community, because until now there are only two cows in the mosque, and will be distributed to the community later.
"So later we will distribute these cows to the community around this mosque," he said.
He said that until now, only PT Timah Tbk, a company in East Belitung, distributed sacrificial cattle to their mosques. (*)
