EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk medical expenses for mothers and children who are residents of Lenggang Village, Gantung District, East Belitung Regency namely Jubarda and Julio Kevin (7).
Representatives of PT Timah Tbk handed over the assistance to the uncle of Julio Kevin's younger brother, namely Mohammad Noor Masese.
Julio Kevin has suffered from a leaky heart disease since he was two months old, this has caused Julio's growth to be slower than other children his age because of his illness.
The family's suffering increased when her mother, Jubarda, was diagnosed with a tumor in her neck in 2017, or 1 year after giving birth to Julio.
Until now, the mother and child have had surgery and have shown positive progress.
"Thank God they have been operated on, they are fine, the mother is fine and can carry out her activities as usual, then the child is undergoing alternative medicine," said Julio's uncle, Mohammad Noor Masese.
According to him, the child's and mother's health conditions are improving but still undergoing treatment. For this reason, they asked for help from PT Timah Tbk to help pay for the medical expenses of this mother and child.
"Thank God this assistance will be used for treatment, transportation, and accommodation for the treatment," he explained.
He hopes that PT Timah Tbk can continue to help people who apply for medical assistance for people in need.
"We are grateful to PT Timah Tbk, hopefully, PT Timah Tbk will be even better," he said.
