BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk distributed 600 basic food packages and 150 school supplies packages for orphans and orphans and poor people in Belitung Regency.
This assistance is one of PT Timah Tbk's efforts to help the community during the holy month of Ramadan 1444 Hijriah.
Apart from handing it over directly to the community, PT Timah Tbk also distributes this assistance to communities such as the Friday Barokah Ridho Allah Tanjungpandan Community which will later be handed over to the community.
The Chairperson of the Friday Barokah Ridho Allah Belitung Community, Imelda is grateful that they have received basic food assistance and school supplies for their children.
"We are grateful to receive this assistance from PT Timah Tbk and it is like a dream to have this," said Imelda while shedding tears.
According to Imelda, there were hundreds of orphans recorded in them. So that with the help from PT Timah Tbk, it can help them to help orphans and orphans.
"PT Timah Tbk is the first office to help please Allah in this Ramadan," he explained.
He said this aid would be distributed en masse on April 14. They are also still experiencing shortages so they are still looking for other donors.
"We are grateful that PT Timah Tbk has helped us," he explained. "Hopefully in the future PT Timah Tbk will routinely assist in distributing aid to our fostered orphans," he said.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries at the Ridho Allah Dewi Community was very happy to receive new school equipment from PT Timah Tbk. Moreover, being able to meet directly with employees of PT Timah Tbk who came to the post.
"This is the first time that PT Timah Tbk has received assistance, and it will be used for schools," said Dewi, a resident of Air Serkuk, Air Saga Village.
Dewi, who is in grade 2 at SMPN 4 Tanjungpandan, explained that the assistance they received was very useful and hoped that PT Timah Tbk would receive blessings. (*)
