PT Timah Tbk Distributes 37 Sacrificial Animals to Karimun and Meranti Islands Regencies

KARIMUN -- Ahead of Eid al-Adha 1443 Hijriah, PT Timah Tbk distributed 39 sacrificial animals to Karimun Regency and Meranti Islands Regency.

In Karimun Regency, the sacrificial animals were handed over to the people of West Kundur District and the people of Tebing District. As for the Meranti Islands Regency, it was handed over to the community in Rangsang District.

Dozens of sacrificial animals were handed over by the Head of the K3LH Division, Zulfikar and his entourage, which were handed over directly to the recipients, witnessed by religious leaders and local village heads.

One member of the fishermen group of Sawang Satar Village or who is often called Utai appreciates the commitment of PT Timah Tbk which has consistently helped the fishing community.

"Thanks to PT Timah Tbk for consistently helping fishermen and the community. Every year PT Timah is never absent to provide animal sacrifices to the community and fishermen in West Kundur District," he said.

Similarly, Sawang Murjani Village Head appreciated PT Timah Tbk's concern for the people of Sawang Village in celebrating the Feast of Sacrifice.

"Every year PT Timah always distributes sacrificial animals to the community here. We feel happy to be able to celebrate Eid al-Kurban together," he said.

Meanwhile, the sub-district head of West Kundur, Haidir, said that PT Timah consistently cared deeply for the people of West Kundur. It is not only fishermen who are noticed by the company but the general public.

"This donation of sacrificial animals really helps the community to be able to celebrate the Feast of Sacrifice by sharing meat," he said.

"On behalf of the government and the people of West Kundur, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to PT Timah for its concern for the community," he said.

The Chief Fisherman of Teluk Uma Village, Zulnaidi, said he was very happy and happy, on this Sacrifice Day, the fishing community in Teluk Uma Village can share in togetherness.

"I would like to thank PT Timah Tbk for the assistance of the sacrificial animals. Hopefully in the future the company can progress and develop so that its contribution to society can continue to be felt and sustainable," he said.
