EAST BELITUNG - To help the community during the Holy Month of Ramadan, PT Timah Tbk handed over 1,400 food packages to people in need in East Belitung Regency.
The activity titled 'Timah Merik Sembako' is a form of concern to help the community in Ramadhan 1444 Hijriah.
Timah Merik Sembako Ramadhan is a routine program carried out by the company every year. This is to help the community in the company's operational areas.
This basic food package assistance is distributed to people in operational areas who need it, such as people with low incomes, the elderly, orphans and orphans and the poor.
One of the recipients of the basic food packages, a resident of Padang Village, Manggar District, Rosmini was happy to receive the basic food packages from PT Timah Tbk, the assistance will be used to meet their daily needs.
"Thank God, this assistance will be used on a daily basis ahead of this Eid, and PT Timah Tbk has helped me twice," he said.
According to him, PT Timah Tbk always cares about people who need help and hopes that PT Timah Tbk will continue to act for the community.
In the same vein, a resident of Lalang Village, Marmah feels grateful for the food packages from PT Timah Tbk, he has also previously received assistance from PT Timah Tbk.
Therefore, he hopes that PT Timah Tbk will continue to help the community, in order to ease the burden on society.
"So far, we have received assistance twice and this will be used for daily needs," he said.
