PT TIMAH Tbk Disburses Rp7 Billion Through the PUMK Program to Support the Development of 117 MSMEs in Operational Areas

PANGKALPINANG – PT TIMAH Tbk continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the Micro and Small Business Funding Program (PUMK).

In 2025, PT TIMAH Tbk disbursed Rp7 billion in financing to support the capital needs of MSME entrepreneurs, benefiting 117 MSMEs across the company’s operational areas.

The disbursement of PUMK funds is part of PT TIMAH Tbk’s efforts to strengthen the local economy and to create resilient, independent, and competitive MSMEs.

The capital assistance is utilized by business owners to increase production capacity, develop their businesses, and expand marketing networks.

The PUMK program of PT TIMAH Tbk is designed not only as financial support but also as a form of continuous mentoring to help MSMEs grow professionally and sustainably.

In addition to providing capital support, PT TIMAH Tbk’s PUMK program also nurtures its partner MSMEs by providing various training programs and supporting product promotion and marketing.

The Head of the Corporate Communication Department of PT TIMAH Tbk, Anggi Siahaan, stated that MSMEs play a strategic role as drivers of the local economy and as pillars of the national economy. Therefore, the company consistently implements empowerment programs that directly address the needs of business owners in the field.

“The PUMK program of PT TIMAH Tbk has been running since 2000 and continues to this day. This is one of the tangible forms of the company’s commitment to improving community welfare in mining areas through MSME empowerment,” Anggi said.

In addition, PT TIMAH Tbk also supports MSME development by providing production equipment assistance to boost productivity, enabling MSMEs to operate more optimally, increase revenue, and create new job opportunities for surrounding communities. (*)
