WEST BANGKA -- PT TIMAH Tbk has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting education from an early age through various corporate social responsibility programs.
One tangible expression of this commitment is the provision of educational facilities and infrastructure for Bunayya Daycare (TPA Bunayya) in Daya Baru Hamlet, Belo Laut Village, West Bangka Regency.
The assistance includes the procurement of toy storage racks, educational teaching aids (ETAs) to support early childhood learning methods, as well as repairs to previously damaged teaching aids.
These facilities are greatly needed to support teaching and learning activities at TPA Bunayya, which currently serves 23 children, as well as a kindergarten with more than 50 students.
Linda, the manager of TPA Bunayya, stated that the assistance from PT TIMAH Tbk has brought significant benefits to the children’s learning process. Previously, the school had purchased a television to support exercise activities and learning, but it is now no longer functioning optimally.
“The television is very helpful for the children. It is usually used for exercise sessions, playing prayers, short verses of the Qur’an, educational films, and Islamic-themed children’s songs. The children really enjoy it and find it easier to absorb the lessons,” Linda explained.
She also shared that the educators at TPA Bunayya have received training from PT TIMAH Tbk, which has further improved the quality of childcare and early childhood learning methods.
Linda expressed her deep gratitude for PT TIMAH Tbk’s attention and support. According to her, in the past 15 years, this is the first time TPA Bunayya has received assistance that directly supports educational activities.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful and thankful to PT TIMAH Tbk. This assistance is extremely beneficial for the children and their learning process. We hope PT TIMAH continues to achieve success, and that collaborations like this can continue in the future,” she said.
