WEST BANGKA -- Congregants of the Darussalam Mosque, Pangek Village, Simpang Teritip District, West Bangka Regency can worship more comfortably. This is because the ablution area and toilet built with the assistance of PT Timah Tbk can already be used.
PT Timah Tbk some time ago handed over assistance for the construction of toilets and wudhu pots at the mosque.
The head of the Darussalam mosque, H.Markan, said that the construction of an ablution place and toilet was built with the help of PT Timah and the mosque's cash fund.
"Representing the congregation of the Darussalam mosque, I would like to thank PT Timah, now the congregation is more comfortable in worshiping after the construction of the ablution places and mosque toilets have been completed and can be used," said H Markan.
According to H.Markan, not only did PT Timah help build mosques, but PT Timah also helped the mosque to open up oil palm plantations, the harvests of which were also used for mosque needs.
The local community leader, H.Rusli, said the same thing. According to him, the congregation was quite happy with the construction of the ablution area and toilets that could be used.
"Alhamdulillah, the construction of ablution places and mosque toilets as support for worship has been able to be used by the congregation. The congregation is happy because they are more solemn in worship," said H. Rusli
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Pangek Sapro Village expressed his appreciation to PT Timah for providing comfort for the congregation in worship.
"PT Timah's concern is significant for the Darussalam mosque in addition to the construction of the mosque, it is also assisted in terms of the economy by opening oil palm plantations for mosque cash. This is very helpful, provides comfort for worshipers, and is beneficial for the community," he explained.
