SAWANG -- PT Timah Tbk again handed over aid for houses of worship in Sawang Village, Kundur Barat District, Karimun Regency. This time the assistance was given to the Sinar Baru Church, in Bubu Village, Sawang Village.
Sinar Baru Church administrator, Pastor Pasaribu, said that the assistance provided by PT Timah Tbk will be used for stockpiling the area around the church. This hoarding is intended so that the rainy season this area can be used.
"This assistance is very useful for church congregation activities," said Pastor Pasaribu when receiving the aid, Friday (22/7/2022).
He said that originally this aid would be used for the construction of the church fence, but there was an urgent need so they were diverted to stockpiling the church area.
"Initially for the church fence. But because there are more priority circumstances, this aid will be used for stockpiling around the church so that when it rains it can be used," he said.
He appreciated the assistance from PT Timah Tbk to improve the comfort of the congregation in worship.
"PT Timah Tbk who consistently cares for the community and not only himself who feels the attention of the company, but the average people of Karimun Regency have felt it. We are very grateful for the company's contribution to the community," he said.
