WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk supports the accommodation of the Panggalang Scout Movement at SMPN 1 Muntok to take part in the level IV Scout Raising Contest (LT IV Penggalang) around the Bangka Belitung ward which will be held on Belitung Island on 11-15 March 2023.
Pramuka Penggalang SMPN1 Muntok represented West Bangka Regency to compete at the Provincial level.
The leader of the contingent and coach of the West Bangka Scout Quarter Scout, Trio Sutiyo said that in the Level IV competition, the scouts raised the Bangka Belitung quarter they brought 16 participants and 3 assistants.
"So far PT Timah has been very helpful and cares about education, as evidenced by activities like this, the scholarship class program at SMAN 1 Pemali, and many more, this is clear evidence that PT Timah Tbk supports education in West Bangka.
The Principal of SMPN 1 Muntok Juniar said PT Timah's assistance was useful for Scouts of SMPN 1 Muntok to take part in the Level IV Scout Scout Competition (LT IV Penggalang).
"This assistance is certainly useful and will be put to good use. Apart from PT Timah, we also receive support and contributions from Bank Sumsel Babel," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the West Bangka Scout Kwartir Branch, Rozali appreciated PT Timah's support for the West Bangka Scout Kwartir.
