PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah sent the PT Timah Rescue Team to compete in the Sumatera Fire and Rescue Challenge (SRFC) which will be held in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatera on 19-22 February 2024.
Head of the K3LH Division of PT Timah Tonggo P. Situmorang immediately released the PT Timah Rescue Team at the PT Timah Head Office Emergency Response Building, on Friday (16/2/2024).
The Sumatera Fire and Rescue Challenge is a rescue competition event participated in by companies in the Sumatra region which was initiated by the Emergency Response Association in the Mining and Energy Sector.
The PT Timah Rescue Team will compete in five challenges, namely Individual skills, Water rescue, Road accident rescue, Structural Fire Fighter, and Fire Fighter Combat.
The PT Timah Rescue Team has made various preparations to take part in this event, one of which is by holding routine training and increasing their agility.
PT Timah's Head of Corporate Communications, Anggi Siahaan, said that the involvement of the PT Timah Rescue Team in this event was a form of PT Timah's commitment to increasing the reliability of the Rescue Team.
"It is hoped that the colleagues who will go will be able to maintain their physicality, stamina, and energy. We hope that our colleagues will compete by prioritizing sportsmanship, whatever the result will be a lesson and experience," said Anggi.
