PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk supports a series of activities for the 51st anniversary of Basarnas by handing over assistance to Basarnas Bangka Belitung.
This assistance is a form of synergy and collaboration between PT Timah Tbk and Basarnas Bangka Belitung in carrying out joint social activities.
The Head of the CSR Division of PT Timah Tbk, Ebi Wibisana, handed over this assistance directly to the Head of Basarnas Bangka Belitung, Imade Oka Astawa.
Head of Basarnas Bangka Belitung Imade Oka Astawa said the assistance from PT Timah would be used to support a series of activities for Basarnas' 51st anniversary.
He mentioned, there were eight activities that would be held such as blood donation, releasing native endemic fish native to Bangka Belitung, planting mangroves in Tanjung Bunga, ceremonies, joint healthy walks, rowing competitions, and family gatherings.
"Thank you to PT Timah Tbk for supporting the 51st anniversary of Basarnas. This assistance will be used to support this series of activities, there are eight activities that will be carried out," said Imade Oka.
According to Imade Oka, Basarnas and PT Timah Tbk often work together in providing services to the community such as social services and blood donations.
He said PT Timah Tbk also supports Basarnas' work where several Basarnas ships also dock at PT Timah Tbk's pier to facilitate the aid process.
"There are some of our equipment that rely on PT Timah Tbk to facilitate services to the community. So that we can respond quickly if an incident occurs," he said.
He hopes that this synergy and collaboration can continue so that they can support each other to improve services to the community.
"Hopefully PT Timah Tbk will be more successful and we can continue to collaborate to provide services to the community," he said. (**)
