PANGKALPINANG – PT Timah has once again reinforced its commitment to implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in its business operations.
As part of this commitment, the Processing and Refinery Division of PT Timah held a K3 Ceremony at the Division’s Processing & Refinery Field on Monday, January 13, 2025.
The ceremony was led by Kopdi Kardi Saragih, Sub Division Head of Processing and Refinery, who delivered a speech based on the mandate from the Indonesian Minister of Manpower.
The K3 Ceremony aims to raise awareness among all employees about the importance of fostering a culture of K3 to create a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment.
PT Timah recognizes that occupational safety and health are not only obligations but also shared responsibilities that must be consistently implemented in every task.
Anggi Siahaan, Department Head of Corporate Communication at PT Timah, stated that the consistent implementation of K3 not only ensures employee protection but also supports the company’s business sustainability.
"The K3 culture is one of the company’s top priorities, and we invite all elements of the company and business partners to contribute to creating a safe and healthy work environment," he said.
Going forward, PT Timah will continue to enhance K3 practices by strengthening a culture of safety and collaborating with various stakeholders. The company also plans to involve employees actively in efforts to maintain safety and health, making K3 an integral part of the company’s success. (*)
