PT Timah Mobil Sehat provides free health services for people in Belitung Island

PANGKALPINANG -- Free health services in PT Timah's Healthy Car continue to provide services for the community in the company's operational areas including on Belitung Island.

In 2025 PT Timah's Healthy Car has served hundreds of people on Belitung Island. Health services were carried out in Parit Village, Tanjung Pandan District, Belitung Regency and in Bentaian Jaya Village, Manggar District, East Belitung Regency.

PT Timah Tbk has three Healthy Car fleets stationed on Belitung Island, Bangka Island and Kundur Island. The three cars along with the medical team continue to move to provide health services for the community. Visit the villages to the hamlets to serve the community.

The presence of PT Timah's Healthy Car on Belitung Island was also welcomed enthusiastically by the community, residents flocked to the healthy car to do health checks and medical consultations.

One of the Belitung residents who had received health services at PT Timah's Healthy Car, Aida (53) said she was happy to be able to carry out free health checks from PT Timah.

“This is the first time I've had a free medical check-up here. The car is clean, the service is fast. Hopefully this kind of examination will be carried out more often, especially for free, so that it can reduce the cost of underprivileged people in terms of treatment, always PT Timah,” he said.

Similar to what was conveyed by Agusrama who admitted that he was grateful for the free health services at PT Timah's Healthy Car.

“For health services, it is getting better, especially this healthy car directly for people who want to check their health for free. And this free examination is very helpful for people who are less fortunate,” he said.

In 2024, PT Timah's Healthy Car has provided health services for 1,392 people on Belitung Island. This health service was carried out at 15 points in Belitung and East Belitung regencies. (*)
