PANGKALPINANG – In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, PT Timah organized a special Ramadan Edition Webinar titled "Understanding the Differences Between Zakat Fitrah and Zakat Mal." This initiative aims to enhance spirituality and foster a culture of shared learning within the company.
The webinar, held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, featured Ustadz Aidil Putra, BA, as the speaker. He provided insights into various aspects of zakat, including its legal foundations, different types, as well as calculation methods and distribution processes.
Through this session, PT Timah employees were encouraged to understand the distinctions between Zakat Fitrah and Zakat Mal, recognizing Zakat not only as a religious obligation but also as a means to strengthen social solidarity and support those in need.
PT Timah’s Director of Human Resources, Hendra Kusuma Wardana, emphasized that the webinar aligns with the company's commitment to a shared learning culture, fostering a balanced development of both professionalism and spirituality among employees.
