KARIMUN -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk provided assistance to support the renovation and improvement of facilities and infrastructure at the Nurul Yaqin Prayer Hall in Tanjung Batu Kota Village, Kundur District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province.
The assistance is expected to help improve the facilities at the prayer hall, which is located in the heart of a residential area, while providing greater comfort for the community during worship.
One of the facilities that had not previously been available at the Nurul Yaqin Prayer Hall was air conditioning. This facility is considered particularly important when the number of worshippers increases during Ramadan.
Nico, Treasurer of the Nurul Yaqin Prayer Hall, said PT TIMAH’s assistance was a meaningful contribution to the prayer hall’s management in helping provide the facilities and infrastructure that are still needed.
“This assistance is for air conditioning, which we did not have before. It is one of the additional facilities and infrastructure that we need,” Nico said.
According to him, the need becomes even more apparent during Ramadan. The prayer hall, located in a densely populated residential area, is usually filled with worshippers, particularly during communal prayers.
“We really need this facility, especially during Ramadan when many worshippers come to pray. The prayer hall is located in a densely populated residential area, and the weather is also quite hot,” he said.
Nico expressed his appreciation for PT TIMAH’s support in helping meet the prayer hall’s facility needs. He said the assistance represents an initial step toward improving comfort for worshippers. (*)
