PANGKALPINANG -- After successfully being held in several operational areas, PT Timah Tbk’s 49th Anniversary Health Week will take place in the capital city of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Pangkalpinang, on Sunday (August 31, 2025).
Carrying the theme “For Red and White,” the Health Week celebration will feature a series of activities including a fun walk, MSME festival, blood donation drive, live entertainment, zumba sessions, and the distribution of hundreds of prizes, with a motorcycle as the grand prize.
The Health Week in Pangkalpinang will be centered at PT Timah’s Headquarters. Community members who wish to join can register directly on-site starting at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The fun walk will be the main agenda, expected to draw thousands of participants from various groups, including employees, their families, and the general public.
In addition to the fun walk, PT Timah will also host an MSME bazaar showcasing local products ranging from traditional culinary delights to handicrafts. The bazaar is designed to give small businesses more exposure while boosting the local economy.
The event will also include a blood donation program in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). Through this initiative, PT Timah encourages the public to show care for others and help meet the region’s blood supply needs.
PT Timah Tbk’s Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the anniversary events are designed to directly involve the community.
“Beyond being a moment of celebration, this program also serves as a platform to strengthen togetherness between the company and the community, support the local economy through the MSME bazaar, and spread benefits through the blood donation drive,” Anggi said.
