PT Timah Harapan Scholarship Class Program for Arini and Lila who want to go to school but are faced with costs

WEST BANGKA -- The PT Timah Scholarship Class Pemali Boarding School Program at SMAN 1 Pemali is always enthusiastically welcomed by the community in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and the Riau Islands Province.

Every year, hundreds of students register to take part in the selection of Scholarship class programs which started in 2000.

Many students hope to pass the selection for the PT Timah Scholarship Class program so they can continue their high school education for free can help their family's economy.

Lila Nur Syafira (15), a student from West Bangka said that from the start she had prepared herself so she could pass the selection. He was grateful that he had finally been declared a graduate after going through various series of selections.

Not without reason, he intended to graduate because he wanted to help the family financially. The condition of his father who suffered a stroke made him, and his mother, who had died and now could only rely on his older brother for the family economy, made him determined to help his family.

"Lila wants to help the family financially. Her father no longer works, every month he has to go to the doctor for check-ups, while her mother has died, the economy now only relies on her brother," he said sadly.

Since he found out about the PT Timah scholarship class program from his seniors, he was determined to pass the selection.

"The school is good, an extraordinary place to seek knowledge, there are lots of extracurricular activities for self-development, increasing relationships with experts, trying to be independent outside of residence, and competing with students from various regions, united in a sense of kinship in the dormitory," said Students graduate from SMP 2 Jebus with enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, Junaidi (50), Lila Nur Syafira's parents, admitted that they were grateful that their daughter had been accepted into the PT Timah scholarship class program.

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful that my child was accepted at PT Timah's superior school, in my current condition I am sick. Thank you to PT Timah," he said haltingly.

In the same vein, Arini Natasya Putri, a graduate of SMPN 5 Mentok, West Bangka, said that apart from helping her family's economy, she knows the many advantages of schools in the PT Timah Scholarship Class Program.

"This school is free and excellent, we will compete and meet new friends, considering the economic situation of my parents' family as farm workers, I want to help by going to school there," he said.

Arini admitted that she knew the information from alumni of superior schools who are now teachers at her school. Thanks to the support of teachers and parents, Arini is obsessed with being able to pass the selection.

"Based on information from school teachers who are alumni there, with the advice and support of Arin's teachers and parents, they registered online and took part in the selection and passed. Thank you to PT Timah for being given the opportunity to study there," continued Arini.

Arini's happiness is also the happiness of Widya (37), Arini's mother, whose child was accepted into the PT Timah scholarship class program.

"As a parent, I feel happy that Arini can go to school there, so that she can focus on studying, unlike here she plays a lot, if she continues here it's quite far to go to school, especially if you don't have a vehicle, it will certainly cost quite a lot of money," he said.

"Hopefully Arini will focus on studying, don't think about her parents, if she misses her once a month or several months, let the parents visit Arini. Thank you to PT for helping my child's school," he concluded. (*)
