WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah again provided assistance and shared happiness with the community in the Company's operational areas during Ramadan 1445 Hijriah.
When holding a Ramadan Safari in West Bangka Regency, PT Timah Management through its social and environmental responsibility program provided various assistance to the community.
This assistance includes for Koran teachers, Quran reciters, compensation for orphans and orphans, compensation for places of worship, compensation for medical expenses and compensation for mosque marbots.
This compensation was handed over directly by the Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Timah Fina Eliani during the Ramadan Safari activity which was held at the Mentok Metallurgical Unit Guest House, Monday (1/4/2024).
One of the recipients of compensation, Taibah (78), who is a Koran teacher, is grateful for the care of PT Timah which often provides assistance to them.
"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful, thank you very much to PT Timah for helping. PT Timah has also helped with mukena, basic necessities which are delivered directly to the house. Hopefully Allah will note that PT Timah will continue to progress," said Taibah
Tahfiz Quran, who received compensation from PT Timah Sabita (13), also admitted that he was happy because PT Timah had shared with Tahfiz Quran. According to him, this is his motivation to demand and deepen his knowledge of reading the Koran.
"I'm so happy that when I get closer to Eid, I get help from PT Timah, which makes me more enthusiastic about deepening and memorizing the Al-Quran. Hopefully PT Timah will be victorious and will be more advanced and useful for Tahfiz," said Sabita.
Similar to what was conveyed by one of the Marbots of the Nurul Muta'qin Mosque, Suryandi prayed for PT Timah to be more active in carrying out the company's business processes.
"Thank you to PT Timah, who cares about us. Hopefully it will be a blessing for PT Timah to provide ease in doing business, and to continue to progress, their employees will be given health," hoped Suryandi.
This is the same as what Hasan said, receiving medical assistance for Karsun, 60 residents of Tanjung Sawah.
