PANGKALPINANG -- The journey through medical treatment has not been easy for 22-month-old Muhammad Al Fasha, a resident of Pangkalarang, Pangkalbalam District, Pangkalpinang. As medical expenses continue to mount, assistance from PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk has helped ease the financial burden faced by his family.
Al Fasha's mother, Wahyuni (35), shared that her son was initially treated at a hospital in Pangkalpinang before being referred to a hospital in Jakarta for further specialized medical care.
Throughout his treatment, Al Fasha has undergone several medical procedures and is still scheduled to receive additional treatment in August.
Amid the lengthy treatment process, PT TIMAH's assistance has become a meaningful source of support for Wahyuni and her family. The aid was provided to help cover both medical expenses and accommodation costs while receiving treatment in Jakarta.

Before receiving the assistance, Wahyuni had done everything she could to finance her son's treatment on her own. She even sold her vehicle to help pay for transportation and medical expenses.
As a single mother who works various odd jobs, the situation has been especially challenging. For that reason, PT TIMAH's support has been invaluable in helping her manage the costs associated with her son's ongoing medical treatment.
Wahyuni hopes that Al Fasha's treatment will continue to go smoothly so that he can recover soon and return to living a normal, healthy childhood.
