PT Timah Employees Receive Award from Governor of Riau Islands

KUNDUR -- Employees of PT Timah Tbk in the Kundur Production Operation Area who are members of the Gymnastics Sports Development Board received an award from the Governor of the Riau Islands Ansar Ahmad in the Healthy Worker gymnastics competition while commemorating the National OHS Month, Tuesday (22/03/2022).

This award was handed over by the Supervisor of the Riau Islands Province Manpower Service
The Karimun Rd Riaiswety branch represented the Governor of the Riau Islands and was received by Mariani as the chairman of the PT Timah Gymnastics Board of Trustees.

On this occasion, Riaiswety expressed his appreciation from the Riau Islands Governor Ansar Ahmad to PT Timah employees who had participated in the healthy worker gymnastics competition which was participated by all companies in the Riau Islands province.

The governor also advised that in the future PT Timah could send representatives to participate in all the activities held. Because healthy worker gymnastics competitions are not only local but also national.

Riaiswety also advised PT Timah Tbk employees to participate in various competitions such as P2K3 and Zero Accident competitions.

"This award is a form of enthusiasm and appreciation to all participants from the Governor who have participated in the competition," she said.

"In the future, PT Timah will be able to participate in various competitions so that apart from honing employee skills, it will also have a health effect on workers," she said.

Employees of PT Timah Tbk who are members of the Gymnastic Sports Development Board, Mariani said they were happy to receive an award from the Governor of the Riau Islands.

"We are pleased and happy for the award given by the Governor of Riau Islands. This is an encouragement to continue practicing. Hopefully next year we can participate in further events and fight for the National level, not just the regional level," he said.*
