ENDE -- The PT TIMAH Emergency Response Group (ERG) Team provided free healthcare services to 151 residents of Boafeo Village, Maukaro District, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on Wednesday (September 2, 2026), as part of the company’s humanitarian response following the earthquake.
The PT TIMAH ERG Team collaborated with PUSKRIS under the Ministry of Health and the East Nusa Tenggara Health Office to provide medical examinations and healthcare services to residents affected by the disaster.
The 151 residents who received healthcare services included 42 children, 76 adults, and 33 elderly residents.
Providing healthcare services directly in the village is particularly important for the local community. Geographical conditions and limited access to healthcare facilities at the district level remain challenges for residents, especially in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Boafeo Village Head Quintus Laja expressed his appreciation to PT TIMAH for directly providing healthcare services and distributing healthcare facility assistance to the community.
“We are very grateful to PT TIMAH for coming directly to our village to provide healthcare services to the community and distribute healthcare facility assistance,” Quintus said.

According to Quintus, the assistance and healthcare services were highly meaningful to the people of Boafeo Village. Residents have faced difficulties accessing healthcare services at the Maukaro District Community Health Center (Puskesmas) due to road conditions that are not easily passable by either two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles.
“We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for PT TIMAH Tbk’s care and attention toward the people of Boafeo Village,” he said.
In addition to providing healthcare services, the PT TIMAH ERG Team also carried out other humanitarian activities on the same day. The team cleaned and tidied the surroundings of Baiturrahman Mosque in Mbay, Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency. (*)
