PT Timah Brings Energy to Belitung Expo 2025, Showcasing Dozens of Partnered MSME Products
BELITUNG – PT Timah continues to promote products from its partnered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at various exhibitions. This time, hundreds of products from PT Timah's assisted partners were displayed at the 2025 Belitung Expo, held from July 1 to 5, 2025, at the Tanjung Pendam area in Belitung Regency.
Belitung Expo is part of the celebration of the 187th Anniversary of Tanjungpandan City. The 2025 Belitung Expo was officially opened by Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung, Hellyana, along with Belitung Regent Djony Alamsyah.
Together with the Rumah BUMN Belitung, PT Timah featured a wide range of products from its MSME partners, including food and beverages, crafts, batik, and more. This exhibition aims to give broader exposure to these products and increase their public recognition.
The company’s participation not only seeks to promote local products to wider markets but also helps MSMEs scale up and compete at the national and international levels.
Belitung Regent Djony Alamsyah stated that the Belitung Expo 2025 serves as a platform to connect local potential with global opportunities. It is here that local creations, MSME products, creative innovations, agricultural technology, local culinary, cultural tourism, and entrepreneurial spirit are presented and offered to the world.
“Today is a symbol of our renewed spirit, of hope and hard work by everyone who loves Tanjungpandan and Belitung. We are here not just for nostalgia, but to show Indonesia—and even the world—that Tanjungpandan is a city that is alive, growing, and rapidly moving forward,” he said.
Meanwhile, PT Timah's Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, said that PT Timah believes MSMEs hold tremendous potential to grow and make a more significant contribution to the national economy.
