The program, attended by around 100 elementary school students, took place on March 18–19, 2025, at As-Salam I Mosque, Baru Village, East Belitung Regency.
Azy Pramono, Chairman of TBM Taman Literasi Menara Bestari, emphasized the significant role of PT Timah in supporting the Pesantren Kilat program.
"PT Timah plays a major role in this event as the main donor funding this program. Their support has been crucial in ensuring its success," Azy stated.
Moving forward, they plan to make Pesantren Kilat a regular program, to be conducted in collaboration with the youth of As-Salam I Mosque every Ramadan.
"Alhamdulillah, the students' enthusiasm for this program has been incredibly high. Despite fasting, they remained energetic, engaged, and excited about every activity and discussion led by the organizers," he added.
He hopes that PT Timah will continue to collaborate in supporting future Pesantren Kilat programs, as they aim to expand participation to the sub-district level.
"We look forward to continued partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders for religious, literacy, and social programs. We also hope our reading garden continues to grow," he concluded. (*)
