KARIMUN -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening family resilience. This time, the company collaborated with the BKKBN of the Riau Islands Province to provide referral-based counseling services for parents and children at TPA Darul Mukmin, Karimun Regency, on Saturday–Sunday (April 4–5, 2026).
This activity is part of the Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (TAMASYA) Program initiated by the Ministry of Population and Family Development/BKKBN. The program aims to improve the quality of early childhood parenting through continuous guidance and support.
TPA Darul Mukmin is one of the priority TAMASYA program locations in the Karimun area that receives intensive assistance. During this activity, parents and children had the opportunity to receive direct consultation services from a professional psychologist, Sri Dewi Amalia, M.Psi., Psychologist.
Through this service, the community can consult on various issues related to parenting, child growth and development, and family mental health.
The event was opened by the Head of the BKKBN Representative Office of the Riau Islands Province, Rohina, who emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration in creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for optimal child development.
According to her, family resilience programs, particularly TAMASYA, are part of a strategic effort to support the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. Therefore, long-term commitment and synergy among various stakeholders are needed to ensure the program runs effectively.
“Children aged 0–6 years, who are in their golden age phase, require special attention in their growth and development, including the prevention of stunting risks, which are relatively high in children aged 0–2 years,” she said.
BKKBN Riau Islands also expressed appreciation for PT TIMAH’s active support in implementing the TAMASYA program.
“We appreciate the support from PT TIMAH in helping to implement this program. This is a joint effort to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045,” she concluded.
