Procurement System Becomes More Accountable, PT Timah Tbk Holds Go Live eProcurement Next Generation

PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk continues to innovate in realizing an effective, transparent, accountable, fair, and reasonable procurement system. eProcurement Next Generation is one of the integrated procurement systems implemented by PT Timah to improve the previous eProcurement system. There are several new features adopted by the company's business needs and applicable regulations.

In addition, eProcurement Next Generation is a journey and improvement made by PT Timah Tbk towards eProcurement Excellence which is in line with MIND ID so that the procurement process can be carried out in an integrated manner.

Go Live eProcurement Next Generation is marked by pressing the Go Live button by the Main Director of PT Timah Tbk, Achmad Ardianto, HR Director of PT Timah Tbk Yennita, and Head of Procurement Division Rahmat Taufik as a sign of the launch of eProcurement Next Generation as a procurement system at PT Timah Tbk.

The Go-live eProcurement Next Generation activity was also attended by PT Timah Tbk's business partners. On this occasion, PT Timah Tbk also presented awards to PT Timah Tbk's business partners in the Mitra Champion and Mitra Champion UMKM categories.

Before its launch, the Next Generation eProcurement has also been socialized to PT Timah Tbk's business partners in Kundur, Bangka Belitung, and Jakarta.

President Director of PT Timah Tbk, Achmad Ardianto said that with the existence of eProcurement Next Generation, the procurement system can run efficiently, effectively, transparently, fairly, fairly, and accountably.

This integrated system it also makes it easy for business partners because they are connected. Through this system, it is hoped that PT Timah Tbk can also have the best business partners both in terms of quality and price.

"This system must be put to good use. With the Next Generation eProcurement, we can get complete information about the procurement system. Because we want procurement to be efficient, effective, transparent, fair, reasonable, and accountable," he said.

He also hopes that this system can provide benefits to others. In the future, he said, this system must also continue to be developed so that it needs feedback from PT Timah Tbk's business partners.

Likewise, PT Timah Tbk HR Director Yennita said, the presence of eProcurement Next Generation is a form of collaboration towards digitizing the procurement process so that the process can be more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable.

"Make the best use of this system to be able to speed up integrated processes. This breakthrough will have quite a significant impact on efficiency efforts," he ordered.

ADW team consultant Sony Sumarsono said eProcurement Next Generation is a digitalization effort by the company to welcome the challenges ahead.

"Digitalization will accelerate supply chain acceleration so that everything is systemized and easy to evaluate and minimize potential risks," he said.

One of PT Timah Tbk's business partners, Efendi from PT Keluarga Mandiri, said that eProcurement Next Generation provides many conveniences for them, such as a faster procurement and payment process.

"We have been socialized since a few months ago, and this is very complete because there are new features. This can make it easier because the procurement and payment processes are faster, we can track directly through this system," he said.

In the same vein, Ririt Lukmansyah from ISS Indonesia appreciates the innovation of the Next Generation eProcurement system because it makes it easier for both parties to work together.

"The process is, of course, faster and there are features that make us not have to go back and forth because everything is done in one system. So it is also easier for us to deliver work. Of course, this will be very effective, efficient, systematic, and integrated," he said.
