PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk continues to show its commitment in supporting the development of the younger generation, President Director of PT Timah Ahmad Dani Virsal provided motivation for Pemali Boarding School students at the Pemali Boarding School Hall, Thursday (24/2/2025).
Dani encouraged Pemali Boarding School students who are recipients of educational scholarships from PT Timah. On this occasion, Dani shared inspiration with the students about the importance of having big dreams and not limiting themselves in achieving their goals.
“I want to see in 20 years you become leaders in your respective fields, learn leadership, leadership capital is discipline, honesty and value, our value is there, we just need to bring it out and develop it. Not all have to be smart in physics but must know,” said the President Director, at the Pemali Dormitory, Thursday (4/24/2025).
He emphasized that background is not an obstacle to success, as long as it is accompanied by hard work, discipline, and strong determination.
“Today nothing is impossible, today you are in the learning chapter. Each of you has great value, you may study in Pemali but your insights are global. The world is wide, and opportunities are open to those who want to try,” he continued.
According to him, the students accepted into the Pemali Boarding School Program are selected students who have taken a series of tests.
“You are high potential people who must be motivated to come out. Motivate yourself, struggle with the current segment in the learning segment, determine the purpose of determining your own value and develop it. Never be afraid to dream, the school may be in Pemali but the mindset must be global. Don't limit your dreams, start to open dreams,” he said.
On this occasion, PT Timah Human Resources Director Hendra Kusuma Wardana also motivated the students to have values.
“Have you ever heard of Indonesia Emas 2045, you are future leaders. The value is how we can achieve Indonesia Emas 2045,” he said.
Through this activity, PT Timah hopes to foster a spirit of optimism and confidence in the younger generation, so that they can become agents of change in the future.
At Pemali Boarding School PT Timah, students are not only focused on academic activities, but also mentally and spiritually educated, honing soft skills and leadership values.
One of the students who attended this activity, Ahmad Harlan said he felt very happy with the motivation conveyed by the President Director of PT Timah.
“There are many values that we can emulate and of course this adds to my enthusiasm, because everything can be achieved if we are determined, work hard and continue to try with the best version,” he said.
