WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk once again supports the construction of the Amantubillah Jering Satana Traditional House in Pelangas Village, Simpang Teritib District, West Bangka Regency.
Assistance from PT Timah Tbk for the construction of the Tetar of the Setana Jering Traditional House was received by Imam Setana Jering Amantubillah Dato' Sardi Al Palangsi, Friday (18/8/2023).
The assistance from PT Timah Tbk for Setana Jering is one of the commitments of MIND ID mining industry holding members to support the preservation of community customs in the company's operational areas.
Imam Setana Jering Amantubillah Dato' Sardi Al Palangsi said since the beginning of the construction of Setana Jering, PT Timah has often distributed assistance to support its construction.
In his opinion, PT Timah Tbk is a company that really cares about the customs and culture of the people.
"From the start we built the traditional house, always assisted by PT Timah. The assistance from the times to build a traditional Tetarar was used for traditional activities that indigenous peoples and the general public used," he said.
His party again appreciates the assistance from PT Timah Tbk which has helped them.
"We thank you, hopefully, the construction of the adat altar will be completed quickly. Hopefully, PT Timah will continue to progress, always be successful so that it can help the community," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Simpang Teritip Sub-District Samsuri appreciated PT Timah Tbk's concern in helping indigenous peoples.
"PT Timah provides assistance for every traditional activity at SIimpang Teritip. Not only for preserving adat, but also for other social assistance, such as building places of worship, assistance for sick residents, and much more," he said.
