BANGKA BARAT – As part of its commitment to supporting social and cultural development, PT Timah has once again provided support for the Ruwah ceremony and Quran completion event in Pusuk Village, Kelapa District, West Bangka Regency.

PT Timah’s support for this religious and social activity reflects the company’s dedication to preserving the customs, culture, and traditions of communities surrounding its mining operations.

The Ruwah ceremony and Quran completion event is an annual tradition that has become a hallmark of Pusuk Village.

Sahani, the organizer of the event, stated that the Ruwah ceremony and Quran completion serve as an expression of gratitude and a way to strengthen community ties.

"The Ruwah Ceremony and Quran Completion in Pusuk Village are ways for us to express gratitude for the blessings and sustenance given by Allah to the people of Pusuk Village. This event also strengthens relationships among villagers and invites friends and relatives from outside the village to visit and reconnect with our community," said Sahani.

He expressed gratitude for PT Timah’s support, which has consistently contributed to preserving local traditions.

"We are grateful that various parties support this event, and PT Timah has been supporting the Ruwah Ceremony and Quran Completion in our village for the past two years. We sincerely appreciate their support and hope that PT Timah will continue to support our village’s traditional events in the coming years," he added.
