WEST BANGKA -- A total of 125 residents of Dusun V Belo Laut Village, Mentok Subdistrict, West Bangka Regency received health services at PT Timah's Healthy Car on Wednesday (16/4/2025).
The free health check-up in the Healthy Car coincided with the Toddler Posyandu activity, so the activity was welcomed enthusiastically by the community. Not only residents of Dusun V, residents from other areas also took advantage of this health service from PT Timah.
Head of Dusun V Daya Baru, Belo laut Village, Agustina Citra Ayu Ningrum said that the Healthy Car activities from PT Timah were very useful and helped the residents.
"Mobil Sehat was welcomed enthusiastically by the residents, even they were willing to queue. The Mobil Sehat program that provides free services and examinations is very useful and helps the wider community," she said.
According to her, the presence of PT Timah's Healthy Car that directly comes to their hamlet is very close to accessing health services, because residents do not need to go far to get their health checked.
"The Mobil Sehat program is coordinated with the Village Government, so we carry it out together with Posyandu activities. This health service makes it easier for people who do not have a vehicle, and if residents have difficulty coming, we can pick them up. We hope this program is routinely implemented, hopefully PT Timah will be more advanced, victorious and successful," he hoped.
Asti (75), a resident who utilizes health services in PT Timah's Healthy Car, admitted that it was easier for her to seek treatment because it came directly to their place.
"I'm glad there is treatment close to home because it's easier and faster. My grandmother has several complaints such as bone pain," she said.
Jamaludin (65), a resident of Pal 3, Air Belo Village, appreciated the service at the PT Timah Healthy Car which he said was very good.
“The service of the health car is very good, hopefully the medicine given by the Healthy Car is effective, and PT Timah's free treatment is continued and routine once a month,” he said.
Similarly, Gusmariyani (36) said that she did not miss to check her health while bringing her child to the Posyandu.
"Incidentally, while checking my son Muhamad Defrianto (6) at the Posyandu, I can check my health here. Alhamdulillah, the procedure is not complicated, just register, check your health, and get medicine, even given a cake, while waiting for the call," she explained. (*)
