Pick Up the Ball to Serve Residents' Health, PT Timah's Healthy Car Visits 40 Points

PANGKALPINANG -- Public health services are one of PT Timah Tbk's concerns, to bring health services closer to members of the Indonesian MIND ID Mining Holding presenting Healthy Cars or Healthy Otos.

Since its launch at the end of 2020, PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car has continued to guerrilla visits to the community in the company's operational areas to provide free health services and health education.

The ball pick-up health service carried out by PT Timah Tbk is the company's effort to fulfill public health services. The presence of the Healthy Car that reaches remote areas is expected to improve the quality of public health.

Free health services from PT Timah Tbk which is a CSR program of this company implemented in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province and Riau Islands Province.

Throughout 2022 PT Timah Tbk's Health Car has visited 40 areas and has served 3,820 residents spread across the company's operational areas.

The presence of the PT Timah Tbk Health Car was greeted enthusiastically by the residents in the company's operational areas, and not infrequently the residents hoped that this health service could return to their village. Apart from being close, PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car also provides many conveniences for the community.

To reach islanders, some time ago PT Timah Tbk's Health Car on Belitung Island was transported across to Nasik Strait Island to provide health services for the people on Nasik Strait Island.

Apart from that, PT Timah Tbk's Health Car also visited crowded centers of residents, such as the Nyiur Melambai Beach tourist area and the People's Party in Rubiah Bay, West Bangka.

Head of Corporate Communications, PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan said, PT TIMAH Tbk in implementing CSR adapts the concept of sustainable development goals (TPB) or known as Sustainable development goals or SDG's.

In the health sector, the company's commitment includes increasing access and quality of public health services, one of which is through the Healthy Car.

"Through this healthy car we are trying to assist the government in controlling the number of people who are sick and mapping the status of health, especially health numbers for seniors, toddlers and pregnant women," explained Anggi.

Apart from that, it is hoped that with this Health Car, PT Timah will also participate in reducing the burden of health costs for people who are far from access to health facilities.

"We hope that the presence of the Tin Health Car can help the community," he said.

One of the residents who utilizes health services at Mobil Sehat, Sarman, a resident of Lilangan Belitung Timur Village, said that health service facilities at Mobil Sehat are quite complete.

"This healthy car is good, and I hope this car can come here regularly," he explained.

In the same vein, a resident of Rubiah Bay, West Bangka, Siti Rohayati (58) admitted that she was very happy about the free medical treatment at PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car.

"Very happy, feeling helped by PT Timah's free medical treatment. PT Timah often helps our residents not only with health services but with other assistance," he said.
