SOUTH BANGKA -- PT Timah's Healthy Car continues to provide health services to the community. Today PT Timah's Healthy Car visited the residents of Paku Village, Payung District, South Bangka Regency.
The presence of the PT Timah Healthy Car in Paku Village was enthusiastically welcomed by the community, and hundreds of residents flocked to take part in the free health services held at the Paku Village Sports Hall on Thursday (25/7/2024).
PT Timah through Mobil Sehat consistently provides health services for the community in the company's operational areas. This is one of the commitments of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding Members to improve the quality of public health.
The residents of Paku Village hope that the PT Timah Healthy Car can return to their village so they can again experience free health services. Apart from that, the presence of Healthy Cars also makes residents closer to seeking treatment.
As stated by Yati, Paku Village residents admitted they were very satisfied with the health services at PT Timah's Healthy Car.
"Alhamdulliah, the service is good, we hope that this can be continued and we will come here again, so we will be happier to seek treatment," he said.
The same thing was said by Sutina, who admitted that she was greatly helped by the free health services from PT Timah.
"Hopefully this will continue because I am very happy and very helped by this health service," he said.
Meanwhile, the Village Head, Paku Palmuri, said that the enthusiasm of his residents for participating in health services at the PT Timah Healthy Car was very high. About a hundred more residents came for treatment.
According to him, so far their residents only go to the Pustu or midwife for treatment, if they want to see a doctor they have to go to the Payung Community Health Center or the Kriopanting Hospital which is around 12-14 kilometers from their village.
"The enthusiasm was extraordinary, previously we announced that at the mosque there would be free health services from PT Timah. More than a hundred people came. Because this health service is very popular with the public," he said.
According to him, the free health services from PT Timah are very targeted, especially since they reach health facilities for their residents quite far away.
"This health examination activity is very appropriate and this is very important because the benefits can be felt directly by the community. Thank you PT Timah for providing free health services for our residents," he said.
According to him, PT Timah often holds social activities in their village, such as providing aid to Gapoktan, sacrificial animals and other social assistance. He hopes that PT Timah can continue to exist so that it can continue to contribute to society.
"We hope that later this Healthy Car will come back to our village not only once a year but for example once every two months. So residents can get regular treatment, because usually when they go for treatment they go to a nurse or midwife. If they want to go to the hospital it's about 14 kilometers away," he said. (*)
