EAST BELITUNG -- To increase the comfort of the students at Melati Hang Kindergarten, Hanging District, East Belitung Regency, PT Timah Tbk donated facilities in the form of installing blocks in the Melati Hang Kindergarten.
The head of the Melati Hang Kindergarten, Lidia, said that the installation of blocks in the school yard was very important. The reason is, when it rains the school yard is often muddy, even if it rains it has the potential to flood.
"To avoid flooding, because we feel sorry for the children, so we proposed the installation of this block," he said when receiving assistance from PT Timah Tbk, Thursday (17/2/2022).
He is grateful to have received assistance from PT Timah Tbk, so that they can realize the installation of the block. With the installation of this block, the students become more comfortable and safe.
"Thank God, PT Timah Tbk was greatly helped, we are very grateful for the school," he explained.
Currently, Lidia said the number of students studying at Melati Kindergarten was 62 people from the villages of Lenggang, Hang and Selinsing.
