PANGKALPINANG -- Ahead of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri, PT Timah is once again sharing joy by distributing sacrificial animals to communities in the company’s operational areas.
This year, PT Timah, a member of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, will distribute a total of 256 sacrificial animals to communities in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province, and Riau Islands Province.
These hundreds of sacrificial animals will be distributed to places of worship and community groups in stages this week. The distribution of sacrificial animals is an annual program and part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to support community welfare and strengthen the values of togetherness.
The number of sacrificial animals distributed by PT Timah has increased from last year’s total of 226. With this increase, it is hoped that more people will be able to share in the joy of the celebration.
PT Timah is collaborating with its subsidiary, PT Timah Agro Manunggal (TAM), and local farmers in each of its operational areas to meet the demand for cattle to be distributed to the community.
PT Timah’s Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the sacrificial animal donation is a routine program carried out by PT Timah as a way to share happiness with the community during Eid al-Adha.
“Eid al-Adha is an important moment to strengthen bonds, share joy, and build closer relationships between the company and the surrounding communities. We hope this donation brings benefits to the people,” said Anggi.
