BANGKA -- The momentum of the Ramadan Safari was utilized by PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk to continue spreading blessings. As part of its Ramadan Safari activities, the company awarded Tahfiz Al-Qur’an scholarships to Qur’an memorizers as a form of support in nurturing an excellent and morally upright Qur’anic generation.
The Tahfiz Al-Qur’an scholarships were presented by the President Director of PT TIMAH Tbk, Restu Widiyantoro, during the Ramadan Safari event held in Pemali, Kabupaten Bangka, on Tuesday (February 24, 2026).
One of the scholarship recipients was Raghil Agustina Mahardika, an inspiring young woman who has completed the memorization of all 30 juz of the Al-Qur’an. Since the age of 13, Raghil has demonstrated strong dedication and a deep love for the Qur’an.
She has also participated in the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ), which at the time was assessed by judges from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, leading her to receive an educational scholarship.
“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful and thankful to PT TIMAH for the support given to Qur’an memorizers. I hope PT TIMAH will continue to develop and support future generations of Qur’an memorizers so that they can achieve balance between worldly life and the hereafter,” Raghil said.
Currently, Raghil serves as one of the teachers at Rumah Tahfiz Raudotul Jannah, which guides 47 students. Through this tahfiz house, she strives to nurture a Qur’anic generation from an early age, instill love for the Qur’an, and shape children’s character so they grow into individuals with strong morals and achievements.
“We start from an early age so that more Qur’anic generations can emerge. At the moment, around 47 students are learning at the Rumah Tahfiz,” she explained.
The Tahfiz Al-Qur’an scholarship program is one of PT TIMAH’s tangible commitments to human resource development, particularly in the religious field. Through support for students and tahfiz houses, the company hopes to cultivate young generations who are not only intellectually capable but also spiritually strong.
The PT TIMAH Ramadan Safari itself serves as a moment of fellowship while sharing happiness with the community. In addition to awarding tahfiz scholarships, the activities also included religious sermons, communal iftar, and the distribution of social assistance to local residents. (*)
