PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH Tbk is committed to implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) consistently and sustainably as part of its efforts to create a safe, healthy, and productive working environment.

The commemoration of National OHS Month serves as a strategic momentum for PT TIMAH Tbk to strengthen its OHS culture across all operational lines. The implementation of OHS is viewed not only as an obligation to comply with regulations, but also as an integral part of the company’s values and work culture.

“Occupational safety and health are the company’s primary commitments. Through the commemoration of National OHS Month, the company wants to ensure that all employees increasingly understand the importance of implementing OHS as a work culture, not merely as an obligation,” said Anggi.
Anggi added that the series of National OHS Month activities are designed to increase awareness, concern, and active involvement of all workers in creating a safe and healthy working environment.
“The company encourages all workers to play an active role in implementing OHS, starting from compliance with safe work procedures to the use of personal protective equipment according to standards. Through strong synergy, the risk of workplace accidents can be optimally minimized,” she continued.
In addition to the National OHS Month activities, the company continues to carry out evaluations and strengthen its OHS management system, including improving safety facilities and infrastructure, monitoring compliance, and providing continuous guidance to workers and business partners.
Through this series of National OHS Month activities, PT TIMAH Tbk hopes that the OHS culture will become increasingly embedded in daily work activities, thereby supporting safe, productive, and sustainable operational continuity. (*)
