"PT Timah Tbk is very helpful to PT TI in meeting PT TI's tin needs. Even though PT TI currently has other suppliers, PT Timah Tbk is still the main one because it can provide excellent service," he said.

Ria explained the services provided by PT Timah Tbk in the form of tin delivery to PT TI's factory, payment facilities, and information on metal price movements on the Jakarta Futures Exchange (BBJ/JFX) and the London Metal Exchange (LME).

"In addition, personnel from PT Timah Tbk's Marketing Division are also friendly and diligent in coordinating with PT TI's Logistics Team regarding plans for metal shipments as well as updates on market information that might affect world tin price movements," he explained.

He explained PT TI needed tin as the main ingredient to produce downstream tin products, namely tin stabilizer used in the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) industry and tin solder used in the electronics industry which was used for domestic needs as well as for export markets to various countries. country.

"To produce these two types of downstream products, PT TI requires around 2,000 tons of metal per year. Of the 2,000 tons of tin, PT TI can produce around 6,750 tons of tin stabilizer and around 650 tons of solder per year which are then marketed for export purposes around 94- 96% and for the domestic/local market around 4-6%," he said.
