Mudik Bersama BUMN, PT Timah Tbk Prepares 1,000 Free Homecoming Quotas

PANGKALPINANG -- Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah, PT Timah Tbk together with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) held a free homecoming for the community. Through an activity titled Homecoming Waiting, Homecoming Together with SOEs 2023.

Free homecoming in 2023, members of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding provide 1,000 participant quotas for Bangka (Pangkalpinang, Muntok, Toboali, Belinyu) with a quota of 650 people, Belitung (Belitung and East Belitung) with a quota of 250 people and Riau Islands (Tanjung Balai Karimun) ) with a quota of 150 people.

Head of Corporate Communications at PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan, said that this free homecoming is intended for students and the general public. For this reason, PT Timah Tbk is also collaborating with the Bangka Student Association (ISBA), the Belitong Family Student Association (IKPB), and KPMKR (Riau Archipelago Student Families).

"This free homecoming is a routine program carried out by PT Timah Tbk to help people who want to return to their hometowns and gather with their families on Eid al-Fitr," said Anggi.

Anggi said that the free homecoming was a collaborative activity with the Ministry of SOEs to help people go home safely, comfortably, and in a friendlier way.

Through this joint Mudik, it will also divert private vehicle users, especially motorbikes, to public vehicles that meet safety standards. In addition, reducing the use of private vehicles will also reduce emissions.
