MSMEs Reap the Benefits from the 49th Anniversary Healthy Week in Belinyu, Goods Sold Out and Products Promoted

BANGKA -- The 49th Anniversary Healthy Week of PT Timah in Belinyu, Bangka Regency, also brought blessings for MSME entrepreneurs who showcased their products at the Green Field, Belinyu, on Sunday (August 10, 2025).

PT Timah facilitated 30 MSMEs to promote and sell their products during the 49th Anniversary Healthy Week, which carried the theme “For the Red and White.”

The MSME bazaar was an effort by PT Timah to provide a promotional space while encouraging economic growth for the community, especially local entrepreneurs.

The bazaar featured a variety of signature products, particularly local culinary specialties. The MSME area also became a major attraction for the thousands of people attending PT Timah’s 49th Anniversary Healthy Week.

Beyond being a buying and selling venue, the MSME bazaar also served as a space for interaction between entrepreneurs and consumers. Many visitors were eager to sample and purchase local products, creating positive economic circulation throughout the event.

One of the MSME owners, Winda, who sold “Dimsum Cheese and Steak” products, said her goods sold out quickly during the event. She even prepared more stock than usual.

“I usually sell online, and this is my first time selling at an event like this. My sales increased drastically. Alhamdulillah, everything sold out. Thank you, PT Timah, for giving us the opportunity to sell here,” she said.

According to her, such bazaars not only help increase their sales but also introduce their products to a wider audience, making them more well-known.

Similarly, Rosdiana, commonly known as Mak Yan, sold various Belinyu specialties such as pantiau, mie celor, and traditional cakes like bolu kojo, rice bread, and others.

“Alhamdulillah, this really helped us, especially since the tent and tables were provided for free. We were truly supported to sell here. It’s very crowded, and sales are good,” she said.

In the future, she hopes PT Timah will continue to hold such events, as they give MSMEs like hers a chance to promote their products.

“I hope events like this keep happening, so we can increase our sales and get our products known by more people. Hopefully, PT Timah will continue to thrive and succeed, so they can keep helping the community,” she said.

Not only did the event benefit MSMEs selling at the bazaar stalls, but even street vendors in the area enjoyed increased sales.

Through events like this, the company hopes MSMEs will become more empowered, independent, and competitive in larger markets. Supporting MSMEs also aligns with the government’s efforts to strengthen the people’s economy.
